Hungarian food at its best
Ordered Gypsy roast with Hungarian potatoes. Good food. Good service with a friendly smile. We arrived at 1945 for a 2000 booking and was greeted by the owner Rob. He introduced us to his staff and wife and made us feel very welcome.
The food was very good and we will be returning for more.
Thank you guys
Great Hungarian food
Having been to Budapest last year we were looking forward to a reunion with some Hungarian dishes and we were not disappointed. Although it does not look much from the outside it is nicely decorated inside and the staff were really friendly. We had the goulash and bakonyi, both with dumplings, and they were both really tasty. The restaurant does not currently have an alcohol licence but you can bring your own which is a bonus. Looking forward to going back.
The best goulash in the city!
The best goulash in the city! This is a hidden gem in Norwich and I will be recommending this place to everyone I know. The staff are extremely friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. Go! You won't regret it.
The food was very tasty and homemade, feels authentic. The service is friendly; they were very patient considering that we were a large group of drunk and noisy customers. Definitely recommended.
My wife and I decided to pop into the Hungarian restaurant for lunch. We had walked passed it a few times as we live close by. We are both glad that we decided to dine here.
My wife had the Bakonyi ( a chicken dish in paprika sauce ) and I had the goulash.
Both were extremely tasty. We shared a dessert,Gestzenpure I thinks it's called, which is mashed chestnuts whipped cream and I think it was rum that was in it, well I will tell you this much, it was heaven in a dessert glass.
Overall the food is wonderful, the family run staff very friendly and nice people.
We shall be back!!
Wow! This restaurant is so good! Food was delicious, authentic home cooked tasting and generous portions. I will definitely be coming back. The staff were very friendly and it's a lovely environment.
